This ministry gives our churches an opportunity to share a cup of cold water in Jesus name and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with people in a marketplace setting.  Dates for this ministry at the Pickens County Flea Market are in the months of June, July, and August.  All churches in our association are encouraged and welcomed to participate.  You may schedule a Wednesday that allows your church to promote an upcoming event such as Vacation Bible School, day camps, or revival services.

You will need 5- 10 volunteers to adequately staff the table for ministry.  On the busiest of Wednesdays it is possible to minister to 500 to 700 people.

Supplies are to be picked up by a church representative by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, before ministry on Wednesday.  All supplies picked up are to be returned on Thursday by 4 p.m., after the Wednesday ministry.  This allows us to clean and restock supplies for the following week.

3 oz. cups
tracts to hand out
2 water coolers
3 extra water containers
1 ice chest
1 8 x 10 tent
face painting supplies
2 blood pressure cuffs ( you must have a person qualified to operate cuffs )
forms to record blood pressure readings
1 table
6 chairs
1 banner
